Treatment can make suitable scars less noticeable, but complete removal cannot be guaranteed. The likely improvement depends on scar type, depth, skin tone, healing response and consistency.
02Why might I need more than one treatment type?+
Many people have more than one scar type. A combination may be discussed because a treatment that suits a rolling scar may not be the right choice for an ice-pick scar or a flat dark mark.
03Can I treat scars while I still have acne?+
Active acne often needs to be controlled first to reduce inflammation and help prevent new scars. Your clinician will also review current and previous acne medicines before procedures.
